Pagamesa

Silobela, Gothic, ZIMBABWE

Nicknamed the Stronghold, Pagamesa mine connects the historic Fortuna, Pagamesa and Gothic reefs across four operating shafts.

The operation

Pagamesa mine
A focused operating perspective

Pagamesa mine works the historic Fortuna, Pagamesa and Gothic reefs through four operating shafts—three focused on antimony and one on gold. Reported ore grades are 32% stibnite and 10 grams of gold per tonne. These figures describe the mineral content of the ore; the amount recovered during processing depends on the ore’s characteristics and the efficiency of the recovery process.
